ABOUT Tara Sorensen

Tara Sorensen oversees program development and production with the objective of delivering quality kids’ entertainment with substance for children.  NGKE has produced several series including, Mama Mirabelle's Home Movies for PBS and Toot & Puddle for Noggin.  Prior to joining NGKE she was VP, creative affairs, for Sony’s Family Entertainment Division and was involved in the development of  “Jackie Chan Adventures” and “Men in Black” for Kids’ WB!; “Dragon Tales” for PBS; and “Stuart Little” and the Emmy Award-winning “Harold and the Purple Crayon” for HBO Family. Prior to Sony, Sorensen served as manager of development for Nelvana, where she played a critical role in the development of the Emmy Award-winning "Rolie Polie Olie" for Disney Channel.
